My final DT share for All About Scrapbooks.....

Good morning everyone

Well I write this post with a lot of  sadness.
You see this is my last post as part of the All About Scrapbooks Design Team.

I have absolutely LOVED my time sharing on their blog each week.

All About Scrapbooks always has the latest and greatest product so creating with these each week was something I loved and looked forward to each week.

I'd like to thank Vanessa for giving me this opportunity - for believing in me.
It's been a real privilege.

Beginning in March is a new Design Team, and I know they will bring you lots of wonderful inspiration.  I'll definitely be popping back to get my creative juices flowing.

Anyway, let's have a look at my final layout!

This one was created using Simple Stories Love & Adore collection.

I was completely inspired by this one piece of paper!

Many of you know that I love adding big swipes of paint on my layouts.

But I know to some of you, it is Scary!
So this paper has done it for you!!!!
I love it when companies create these cool artsy papers.

I just added some embellishments - some I fussy cut from paper,
some are stickers and some of them are Die Cuts.

I also added some 2Crafty Chipboard for the title, and bordered the layout with a contrast paper and pretty much that was it!!

So fun and so easy!

Some of you know that I document our everyday stories through Project Life.

Using this gorgeous range, with my leftover bits and pieces I have created a weekly spread.

Here's the left side:

 And here's the right:

Love the colours!!

Well that's it from me.

She has Super powers....

Happy Friday everyone!!

Today I'm sharing with you a layout created for All About Scrapbooks using

Such gorgeous colours!!!!

I started with white cardstock, and added white gesso.

Once dry, I mixed a few of my Dylusions Paint together to create colours similar to those in the paper range.
I painted large sections across my cardstock.

I then added lots of stickers and ephemera, and my photo.
Pretty simple really, but when a range is so gorgeous, it really makes scrapping easy!

I adore the navy, coral and mint.
Three of my favourite colours.

I then journalled on my page, and trimmed the layout down slightly and placed on a gorgeous patterened paper.
This created a border for the layout.

See you next week!!!!

Hello Wilna!!

Good morning!

Today I'm sharing a layout for All About Scrapbooks I created about meeting the fabulous Wilna Furstenberg!

I was lucky enough to attend a retreat last year that she attended.

Whilst there I got to take a couple of her classes, and really enjoyed getting to know her.
She is gracious, sweet, funny, bubbly and of course super talented and inspiring.

I used one of Wilna's techniques for the background - painting directly onto white cardstock.

I then went crazy adding lots of gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard.
I painted some and even embossed some too!
I haven't done that for ages!

I then added a few embellishments from the Bella Boulevard You are Loved Range.
I cut lots of little flags from the leftovers and included them too.

A fun, bright, happy page that I hope you enjoy.

Much love
xx

Love this Life!

Hi everyone

As we come to the end of 2016, it's a great time to reflect on the year that was and to start thinking about 2017.

This week's layout for All About Scrapbooks is about that......

I had so much fun playing with Amy Tangerine's Oh Happy Life range.

It's full of bright colours so I decided to pair it with white and black.
I used white as my background, and added some swipes of black paint.
I then added a few layers of papers on top of the black paint, and then added my photo to this.

With some of the leftovers I created a cluster at the bottom of the page.

For my title I added some 2Crafty chipboard which I painted black, and then I cut 'this life' from one of the papers.

 Lastly, I added my journaling.

I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
I have thoroughly loved showing you my work each week, and hope it has inspired you to get creative.
I look forward to 2017 and sharing more scrappy stuff.

Luv Tam
xx

Happy.....using Bella Boulevard

Good morning everyone!
Can you believe we are halfway through December??
2 more weeks until the end of the year.
Yep mind blown.

This week I've been working on a layout for All About Scrapbooks using some of Bella Boulevard's Illustrated Faith range.
Just adore the colours!

This layout is inspired by the craziness of this time of year.
In our attempt to get everything done, we can lose the joy.
We can lose our focus.

So this is about finding happiness in the everyday craziness.
It's about feeling grateful.
It's so important.

I began by applying some gesso to white cardstock.

I then added a few brush strokes of paint.
I wanted to journal on the paint, so I was mindful where I placed it.
I added a few flicks of paint as well.  Love the colour!

I added a few strips of paper to the left hand side of my layout.

I added some layers behind my photo, and then embellished with a few page tabs and stickers.

Once this was all stuck down, I journalled.

For me this is the most important part.

I hope this layout inspires you to not only scrap, but also to stop and be grateful.
So, what are you grateful for?
