Scrap the Girls - November Challenge

Well it's that time of the month! Lol..... the first, so it's new challenge time over at Scrap the Girls.

I love the challenges we have there - so creative and a little different to the 'norm'.

So the new moodboard looks like this:

It's called "Get Lost" and the idea is to be inspired by your favourite fairy tale.  How much fun is that!!

I could have done a number of pages for this one, as I have a teen daughter who is Disney Princess crazy, and often around here I feel like I fell down the rabbit hole! Lol

But I ended up going with one of my favourite moments when we visited Disneyland a few years ago, meeting Princess Anna!! Yep I never want to forget that. I love her - her enthusiasm and positivity, her carefree, bubbly nature mixed with that awkwardness.  And yep she didn't disappoint. She was perfect.

I took my inspiration from the colours in Anna's dress - but then it was all too much, so I changed the photos to black and white. Much better.

I added some 2Crafty Chipboard as it just fit so well - I used stars, a title that was just perfect, and a gorgeous floral swirl that reminded me of the embroidery on Anna's dress.

I also took inspiration from the watercolour image on the bottom right.

So let's take a closer look:

Here's that title - I love applying different colours to the different fonts.

Here you can see the chipboard Flower Vine.

Creating that background was a lot of fun.  I used Dylusions Ink Spray which I get from my favourite scrappy store Scrap Matrix - and yes you can order online!
Messy but fun!

I created some tags from 7Dots paper to pop my journaling on.  I also source these from Scrap Matrix.

I also used some 7Dots stickers.

I added some scribbles and fun words around the edge to finish it off.

So that's my creation.... I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Head on over to the Scrap the Girls Blog to see the rest of the team's inspiring layouts. Those girls are awesome!

I'll see you again soon, til then happy creating!
