Jot Magazine August Challenge

This month I thought I'd have a go at the monthly challenge at Jot Magazine.  They have a very classy, very inspiring monthly online magazine, which I drool over each month.  They always have a pretty cool mood board challenge which I always intend to have a go at, but never quite seem to get there.  So this month I decided was my month.......
Here it is.....

Gorgeous right?   And blues.....whenever I see the colour blue I think of my beautiful mum whom I miss so very much.  I had just created a layout inspired by her, so a lot of blue was scattered across my scrap space....so when I saw this challenge, I went with what was on my desk, just adding splashes of silver.
Here's my layout:

And a close up:

I'm thrilled I was able to use those skeleton leaves.....they've been in my stash for quite some time.  And it feels so good to have scrapped some photos about my mum.....up until the last few days, I haven't been able to.  Quite therapeutic.....

  1. Wow Tammy, this is so different to your usual style. I love this, the colours are perfect. And so nice that you were able to find some therapy in this one.

  2. This is very pretty with all the blues and the dainty doilies. I'm glad you were able to document memories with your Mum, that's what memory keeping is all about! And it is very therapeutic - I agree! Thanks for joining in with the mood board challenge at Jot this month :-)
