Kraft Plus Challenge - July

Just popping in to share my layout for the July Kraft Plus Challenge. 
This is one of my favourite challenge sites.....the design team's awesome and they have such diversity in their challenges.

This month the challenge is as follows:  Use this photo as your inspiration plus yellow paint

 
So this challenge should be right up my alley......I love yellow.....but as I sat down to create, what was in my head didn't transfer to the page. 
This often happens, and I usually go off on a completely different tangent, which results in a page that I'm surprisingly happy with....but today wasn't one of those days....I didn't love it....I didn't know how to fix it....so I decided to just walk away....leave it, still enter and accept that not every layout can be a favourite.

    Isn't it just the WEIRDEST thing...you don't like it....I think it looks absolutely fabulous!!! LOOOOVE the journaling on the heart. Love the hearts....the yellow pops so beautifully against the black. So, I'll have to agree to disagree with you on this one. I ADORE it!! And I'm so glad you entered it even if it's not your favest work, with us at K+:):)

    well... I LOVE this although you may not ;-)
    I have that problem often Tammy.. but you are right.. stick it down and onto the next.
    LOVE that big heart and how you have journalled on it.
    Always love how you interpret the challenges :-)

    You may not love it (hopefully it grows on you), but I think it's simply FAB! I adore the layering of hearts, especially the big black one with the journaling on it...it's a very striking layout! Thanks for joining us over @ Kraft+ :)
